About Worship

Worship events are designed to be understandable for full participation by first-time worshipers.  We worship God in present day language, and provide a lively blend of traditional and contemporary elements: music, prayer, message, passing of the peace, and an occasional praise dance and worship drama skit.

We welcome children in worship, with the children's bulletins, "time with children" up front with the pastor, and elementary age children passing the baskets at offering time.  While you may see a sleeping baby in worship, we provide experienced caregivers in our worship hour nursery, 8:00 a.m. and 10:15 a.m., trained staff and volunteers, all screened according to our  "Safe Place for Children" policy and procedures.
