Faith in Action – Proverbs: Uncommon Sense
The “Faith in Action” Sunday morning 9am class that meets in room 7 is studying Proverbs: Uncommon Sense. This series is packed full of practical instruction for everyday people in everyday living. Come and join us as we seek to understand what wisdom is, and how to apply wisdom in communication, relationships, emotions, finances, and other vital areas. We will learn how to embrace in practical projects and life changing goals the wisdom found in Proverbs.
Vacation Bible School – June 18-22, 2012
Vacation Bible School registration is open now, only at www.gracewired.org (Christian Community, Grace Kids) through June 10. No walk-ins will be taken. Cost is $15 per child, $35 family cap. Our theme this year is “Splash in God’s Word.” This is a fun exploration of Bible stories like Noah’s Ark and Jonah and the whale. Water will be everywhere!! Children who are rising Kindergarteners through rising 5th Graders will do crafts, play games, sing learn and get wet. Join the fun, sign up now!!!
“Invitation to the Psalms” in Sunday School Class
The Sunday morning “Seekers” class that meets at 9am in the conference room, will be repeating the “Invitation to the Psalms” class from Wednesday nights. This is an offering for those who would like a Bible study class on Sunday morning.
Disciple Bible Study – Invitation to the Psalms
A short-term Disciple Bible Study class, “Invitation to the Psalms,” meets at 7:00pm at the church and on the 1st & 3rd Mondays of the month through June. This study is part of the in-depth and high commitment “The Disciple Bible Study” series. We will explore the Psalms through music, dramatic readings, images, and class discussion. Participants will have required daily reading.
The Breakfast Club
No time for breakfast when you are trying to get everyone out the door to church? Looking for a group to fellowship with? Want a theological discussion, but no homework? We have the answer! A new Sunday School class is forming that mixes food, fellowship, and fun faith discussions. Starting Sunday, October 30 around 9am in room 14 we will be enjoying breakfast goodies and studying the NOOMA series, short 5-10 minute videos with discussion starting questions created by Rob Bell. Come one Sunday or come every Sunday.
